Factors that Can Affect Load-Out Delivery Timelines
Load-out delivery times can vary based on several factors. Two of the biggest factors are:
- The time of year (as the seasons change, so does freight!)
- The lane

Nationwide is here to help you solve seasonal trailer shortages, keep your trailer pools balanced and keep your trailers moving toward the most lucrative regions with our one-way trailers. We are currently moving trailers with over 1,500 trucking companies all over the U.S. and Canada plus we relocate dry vans and trailers for 300 individual trailer manufacturers, dealers, leasing companies and used equipment businesses.
As a general rule for load-out trailer moves, Nationwide expects that once a deal is made, trailers will begin picking up within 24 to 48 hours of the commitment. Then, the trucking company’s goal is to deliver the trailer to its destination within seven to fourteen days from pickup. This time span varies based on where pickup and delivery happen. Our goal is that trailers are to be used for one load from origin region to destination region, if possible. Trailers are not to be treated as rental trailers, but as a one-time trip lease.
